CIRP - Virtual Symposium 2024

The Young Section of "Inter-University Research Centre on Pericyclic Reactions and the Synthesis of Hetero- and Carbocycles" (CIRP) is delighted and honored to organize the “II Virtual Symposium on Pericycle Reactions and the Synthesis of Carbocyclic and Heterocyclic Systems’. It will be held at the University of Messina on 28th – 29th November, 2024. The main purpose is to strengthen the connections between young scientists (PhD, post-doctoral students and junior researchers) by encouraging the exchange of ideas and supporting national and international collaborations. This Symposium is the 2nd virtual experience, in a series of events proposed by CIRP. The Inter-University Centre, founded in 1992, aims to promote scientific connections between research groups interested in pericyclic reactions, specifically in their synthesis, route mechanisms and applications. Currently, more than 10 Italian universities participate to the centre, with more than 80 professors involved. The scientific program of the II Virtual Symposium will include four international invited Lectures supplemented by oral communications. During the symposium, the scientific committee will evaluate the presentations to award those distinguished for innovative topics and clarity of exposition.
